Everyone arrived healthy. I have one orange and one red checkerboard. I was under the assumption that the pair on the site was what I was ordering. Is that not the case? I also want to confirm these are a proven pair. Please advise. Thanks! From Michael: We only sell proven pairs if they are listed as such. In fact, many of the discus you see in smaller sizes are babies from our pairs. We run a business selling the parents as well as babies because we are constantly receiving more fish and cannot retain everything. Pictured fish are never the exact ones for sale.

When the Order arrived the packing was done that showed care in shipping the live fish.

My purchase though was not what I wanted.

The wild fish I was expecting did not look anything like the photos shown. I wanted RED discus fish with FULL RED EYES and received BROWN discus fish with gold colored eyes. I ordered 8 wild discus two types of breeds. The fish would not recover, they would not eat anything and would all just huddle in a corner of the tank. 7 of the 8 discus just starved themselves to death. One discus fish survived only because when it was by itself it decided to eat. I guess because it no longer had any other discus fish to huddle with. I was not happy with my order and did not get what I paid for $2000.00 worth. From Michael: I'm sorry to hear this, as it's always a horrible experience losing fish.
