Mosaic Turquoise Discus, Blue Base, Wide Pattern

It’s hard to describe the electrifying feeling I get just by looking at the colorful Mosaic Turquoise Discus. It sparks many happy memories in my mind; it’s like locking eyes for the first time with a person and feeling that instant, bubbly attraction that sticks with you for days. The Turquoise Discus reminds me of that scene in Leonardo DiCaprio’s Romeo and Juliet movie when the two leads lock eyes through the fish tank… It really makes you experience the initial rush of feeling you’ve found ‘the one’ right before your eyes. The red linear pattern, paired with the light blue of the Discus’ fins makes it a mesmerizing creature to look at, just like when my girlfriend puts on her lipstick right before stepping out of the house to go out; she makes my heart stop and go speechless. This amazing creature has completely translucent mouth and gills, making its bright red eyes pop and people’s jaws drop in awe. It will really stand out in any tank.

When I first saw the Mosaic Turquoise Discus, I felt overwhelmed by its red, white, and light blue color combination. It made me feel so patriotic and remember all those 4th of July celebrations I had in my parents’ house back in Milwaukee, watching the fireworks exploding over Lake Michigan when I was merely 8 or 9 years old. Ah… the good ol’ days. It’s pretty hard to get that instant stream of memories by simply looking at such a small, yet hypnotizing and beautiful specimen. Nothing can compare to feeling like a child again, running from one place to another looking to the sky, but looking at this Discus can truly make me feel warm and young inside once again.
