What other fish has the palate of a peacock feather, the golden stripes of a tiger, and the electric blue of the 80s hit by Icehouse? This eye-catching discus is a beautiful addition to any collection and has the power to blend or pop in your aquarium.

The Wild Nhamunda Blue discus is a triple threat of color, texture, and patterns–and flashes of vivid iridescence are its crowning jewel. The rich neutrals and of this wild-type will look beautiful in any aquarium setup, but shocks of electric blue are what truly set this swimming sapphire mine apart.

This breathtaking fish brings together all the colors and patterns of a tropical getaway, and is perfect for any natural aquarium that craves a sprinkle of fairy dust. Boasting bold, golden stripes layered with dazzling, iridescent electric blue tiger stripes on the body, and leopard spots on its fins, this fish will serve new flashes of color with every turn.

The Nhamunda Blue’s versatility allows it to take a leading role with many of our other wild-types, and it would strongly accentuate your hybrid collection, as well.

Just wanted to let you know the fish are doing fine our large red melon and large pigeon blood discus, which are a little bit smaller than the 2 you sent, are bullying the new arrivals. If I didn’t know better, I would say the red melon wants to breed with the Heckel. Any chance you know the sex of the 2 you sent? Hope all is well with you. Loving the new additions. Keep doing water changes and cleaning every day because I am getting low readings of ammonia.

    Take care,

    Judy
