This fish does not exhibit the full typical characteristics of the Red Diamond. Also, the facial area may appear much lighter and less uniform in coloration than the Red Diamond. The red pattern throughout the body is not uniform, as there are hints of lighter tones in certain areas. Also, a black halo may be present. If one was to imagine the body of this fish as a canvas, there are certain areas with missed “brushstrokes,” which gives each fish more opportunities for uniqueness as well as a more “natural” look.

The fish arrived this morning. The golden diamond has been on the bottom laying against the glass, I'm hoping it will be okay. I acclimated for an hour. The tangerine is fine.
